J. D. Greear
J.D. Greear, (born May 1, 1973) is the Pastor at The Summit Church of Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, a position he has held since January 2002.〔 Before coming to work at the Summit he had worked with the International Mission Board.〔("Akin to nominate N.C. pastor as SBC 2nd vice president." ) Baptist Press.
